In our second edition of The Dirt, we are excited to share our preliminary map for the Powell Project! Each color line indicates a different trail, four in total to support different levels of riding.
The team went out this summer to flag each of them and this fall trail work will begin. You may have noticed the last event in our trail building series is Chainsaw Carnage V3.0 (Oct 29th)! Routes are likely to change once we start moving dirt, so join us to see how all of these considerations come together when work begins.

Friendly reminder to ride with the flow and be respectful of trail builders' hard work!
Without dedicated trail builders and hundreds (thousands??) of volunteer hours, mountain biking would be limited to fire roads. Imagine- no single track!
You can show your appreciation for what trail builders do by not gratuitously degrading trails.
Skidding, roosting, and locking your rear brake while riding triggers the most avoidable and destructive trail wear.
Skidding may be fun and yea the pros do it, but downhill races are held in places full-time trail staff on hand to repair damage caused by skidding.
Thanks for the original post @mtbikinglove 😉
